Interactive Program held at LISIEUX SCHOOL

On 31st Jan, 2023 Lisieux Matric Hr. Sec. School in collaboration with AALLL (Alumni Associa- tion for Life and Light of Lisieux) and supported by International Linguis- tic Academy, Culture and Research Center, proudly presented an interac- tive program on "Learn and Earn in India and Japan". The main aim of the program was to give insight to the students about the culture, job oppor- tunities and higher studies in Japan.

The Chief Guest. Shuichiro Mimura. Head of International Edu- cation Planning Officer, Tokyo Koku- sai Gakuen and Tokyo Foreign Lan- guage College (TFLC) took the spec- tators to the Land of Rising Sun. He threw light on the hope and opportu- nities available in Japan. He went on to say that there is great scope to earn and learn in Japan.

He also said that the brilliance of Indians is outstanding and Japan need- ed such Indian minds for the develop ment of the country. Dr. Nagarajan K Reddy, Founder & Chairman, Interna- tional Linguistic Academy, Cultural and Research Centre, Chennai and B.

Arul Prakash, Centre Head, ILA, Cbe also graced the occasion.

The Principal, Rev. Fr. Dr. Paul Thekkiniyath proposed a plan to in- troduce a Multi-Linguistic Lab in the school. He also added that by immers- ing ourselves in other cultures be- yond our own, we can learn about each other-where people came from, what they struggle with as a community.

Rakesh Menon, President, AAL-LL while addressing the gathering said that learning a new language is like a gateway to imbibe a new cul- ture. He also said that learning a new language is very easy for young minds and encouraged the students to make use of this great opportunity.

The students and teachers got a golden chance to interact with the eminent. The session stressed on the truth that strength lies in differences and not in similarities.
